Ranjeeta Bahirwani, MD is fellowship trained and board certified in transplant hepatology, gastroenterology and internal medicine. Dr. Bahirwani’s professional interests include management of patients with end stage liver disease, liver transplantation and hepatocellular carcinoma.
She attended medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Her internship, residency and two fellowships, one in gastroenterology and one in transplant hepatology, took place at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she was appointed Chief Fellow and Associate Fellowship Program Director of Transplant Hepatology. Along with being on staff at Liver Consultants of Texas she also holds a faculty position at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, where she is committed to medical education for residents and fellows.
In addition to seeing liver disease patients at Baylor University Medical Center she also has the liver outreach clinic in McKinney.
