Professional Interests
Dr. Perrillo is the Associate Director of Hepatology at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and Director of the Hepatology Fellowship Program. Prior to joining Liver Consultants of Texas, Dr. Perrillo was Director of Academic Affairs, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. Dr. Perrillo is internationally recognized for his work on antiviral therapy of chronic hepatitis B. He is an opinion leader and has active clinical research interests in antiviral therapy in hepatitis B.
